What We Do

At Made Welcome we offer three tiers of services in order to meet you where you are on your path towards creating an accessible workplace or event.

Tier 1

Ramp Up

education

"Ramp Up" is Made Welcome's educational service offering. You don't always know what you don't know. Made Welcome trainings ramp up your knowledge and elevate your company or event to the next level. We have a list of existing trainings immediately available, or can customize and create trainings based on your needs.

Made Welcome Principal Josh Klipp or one of his highly qualified associates can provide interactive, in-person or web-based trainings to your company or team. For workplaces, trainings cover any number of crucial topics e.g.: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 101; Reasonable Accommodation Basics; Best Practices on Interacting with Employees and Customers with Disabilities, to name a few. For event planners and venues, trainings include, e.g.: Venue Accessibility 101; Event Accessibility Integration; Best Practices to Serve Your Guests and Customers Who are Disabled.

Sometimes you have a specific need for a focused training, for example if you'd like to improve your company's recruiting practices, or want to do a deep dive into the accessibility of your products or event content. If your company or event would like a targeted training, Made Welcome will work with you to understand your unique needs, and build a customized training session to best meet your goals.

Tier 2

Power Assist

consultation

"Power Assist" is Made Welcome's Assess and Advise service offering. Sometimes you need more than a training; you want an objective outsider to evaluate your existing operations and offer useful, implementable feedback. With Power Assist, Made Welcome's Principal, Josh Klipp, or one of his top associates, will sit down with you and examine what disability and accessibility practices or tools you have in place, and offer suggestions on how to make those even better.

In workplaces, for instance, many employers have a reasonable accommodations process set out in the company handbook, but they feel unclear on how this translates to real-life employee needs. For venues and event planners, you may have an accessibility initiative in place, and seek advice on whether it covers all possible scenarios. Power Assist is for any workplace, event planner/producer, or venue who has a system or process in place, and aspires to take it to the next level.

Also, if you have no process in place and want advice on how to make it happen, Made Welcome's Power Assist to the rescue! We'll look at your company or event overall, and provide recommendations on how to create processes and initiatives so that people of all abilities are Made Welcome at your workplaces and events.

Tier 3

Total Enablement

implementation

"Total Enablement" is Made Welcome's project management and hands-on implementation service offering. Sometimes you need more than training and advice, you need boots on the ground to help bring your accessibility ideals to life. With Made Welcome's Total Enablement, Principal Josh Klipp or one of his top associates will work directly with your team to help create AND implement accessibility objectives in the workplace and at events.

In workplaces, for example, Made Welcome can help employers to not only design but also implement a reasonable accommodations process, including training, process documents, checklists and more. For venues and event spaces, Made Welcome can work directly with your venue staff or event production team from planning through closing night, including accessibility vendor integration and on-site accessibility project management.
